It is kind of a complex; i was wondering if it is possible to connect from an XFP-SR 10GBe (LC) Interface to an X2-SR 10GBe (LC) Interfcae

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

10G-SR (multimode) should be able to transparently connect to another 10G-SR transceiver with no issues – similar to the way GBIC and SFP are fully compatible; as long as you match optics type with the appropriate fiber cable. Make sure your cable is Multimode, and presumably orange (or aqua?) which are standard for 50 micron multimode.

Just a point of interest, the colour of the fibre cable does not represent anything, that is a myth. The colour is whatever the manufacturer chose, and you chose when you bought it. They can be blue, yellow, grey, green or whatever.
