 0x8004010F Exchange 5.5
Hello, I have a question about Outlook. All of our users who use Outlook versions newer than 2000 (XP and 2003) all have the same problem. They get this message "Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An object could not be found" every couple of minutes. Users who use older versions of Outlook do not have this problem. All of a sudden this problem occured, and about a month ago the problem was suddenly gone, but last week users started to get this message again. Email does go out and comes in without any problem, but this message keeps appearing on the screen. What could be wrong? We use Exchange 5.5 on a Windows NT4 server (SP6).

Answer Wiki:
Could you give us some particulars for your servers? For instance, what post-sp6a hotfixes are installed on the server? What service pack is installed for Exchange 5.5? What hotfixes are installed on top of that? Knowing those things will help us determine the possible cause(s) of your issue.

The server is a Dell running 2003 standard with Service Pack 1. No exchange server. Just a stand-alone TS.

Try the following it may work for you.
Exchange System Manager:
Goto Recipients->Offline Address Lists->Default Offline Address list, right click and select rebuild.

if that doesnt work try reseting the site folder
