<description>Thanks for the mention - it was a GREAT time (except for the hours spent taping down the power cords so everyone could run their laptops for the labs - think kneepads!)...

Here are some tips for your readers...
  - Consider adding the TCP1323OPTS registry on Windows XP boxes - take a trace file of a large file transfer before setting - turn on this setting to 1 (not 0, not 2 or anything else!) - then take a trace after entering this registry key
   - If you want to get the early bird discounts for Summit 09, fill out the form at www.chappellsummit.com
   - Check out the bitgirl video on youtube showing how to add a custom column to Wireshark - I add the following for wireless analysis - they will show you the signal strength for WLAN Radiotap or PPI headers:
          radiotap.dbm_antsignal
          ppi.80211-common.dbm.antsignal
   - Check out the free packet generator at www.colasoft.com
   - The signature for Spore game play is a dns query for pollinator.spore.com

Thanks all - hope to see you next year at Summit 09.
