iPhone:Unable to revert from version 3.1 to 3.0

Here is an interesting article on this: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/11/27/apple_doesnt_trust_you/ Apparently even though there have been reported issues with version 3.1 you can not rollback from an upgrade.
