Windows 8 Start Menu

Raj Perumal Raj Perumal Profile: Raj Perumal

Hi folks! So obviously one of the first things you will notice when you install Windows 8 is that your start menu is gone. In it’s place is the Windows 8 Start Screen.

At first glance, the Start Screen seems like a great replacement for the Start Menu, until you realize it’s just a cluttered mess and completely useless without a touch screen monitor. After all that’s what it was designed for. So how do you deal with this?

Enter Stardock, the company that specializes in Windows customizations. They have created a Windows Start Menu called Start8 and you can try it for free to see if you like it. If you decide to buy it it’s only $4.99.  How’s that for awesome!
