VMware Fusion Unity Mode

Raj Perumal Raj Perumal Profile: Raj Perumal

Hi folks! So I wanted to talk about a cool feature in VMware Fusion for you Mac users out there!

This feature has been around for a while but many people might not be aware of it. If you own VMware Fusion, you can use a feature called Unity mode. Basically what this does is trick’s you into thinking a Windows application is running on your Mac desktop. It isn’t actually doing that, it’s just running in your Windows virtual machine, but as far as the user experience goes it looks like it’s running natively on your Mac!

This is a great feature for those of you that have those apps you need to use that only are available on Windows and you don’t want the hassle of using a Windows VM in the traditional sense. Instead change your view to Unity and then you can use the apps seamlessly!
