So in my hometown of Winnipeg, one of our local universities has decided to partner with Cisco!This also involved the help of the federal and provincial government.

The University of Winnipeg(U of W) has partnered with Cisco on a 7 million dollar deal to create 34 research and teaching labs. They also are using the power of TelePresence for distance education.

This is going to be a great boon to our educational community! Kudos to the U of W and Cisco on the deal! You can read more about it here.
