Well if you have any clients using McAfee anti-virus you probably ran into this issue today. A recent update from McAfee decided to cause more harm than good.

Somehow an update decided to classify svchost.exe as a virus and cause all sorts of grief for PC’s around the world. This seems to be so widespread that the issue was slashdotted earlier today.

Way to go McAfee, maybe next time you can do some QA testing first? You can read more about it here.
