The new VMware View client will support Kindle Fire, Mac and Linux. It is optimized for Mac OX X Lion, and will use Lion’s full screen mode as well!

The client will also be easily available through the Ubuntu Software Center for easy installation for Linux users. Also the Amazon Appstore will be carrying the client for download as well!

Hi folks! So I’ve been using my Mac lately to connect to Microsoft Exchange 2010. I bought Outlook and installed it on my MacBook Air.

I have to say that I’m quite impressed with Outlook for the Mac. It works great and it’s easy to get around in the application for a user like myself that is used to the Windows version.

Everything is pretty straightforward, and creating meeting requests is a breeze. The one thing I did notice is that it seems it takes longer for the Mac to synchronize folders with the server than it does for my PC. I’m not sure if this is a MacBook Air thing, or Outlook however. In any case it’s not that much longer that it’s an issue but it was something I noticed.

The rest of my Microsoft Office experience is great as well, Word, Excel, PowerPoint are all great apps that work great on their Mac counterpart.

What does it do? Basically it’s screenshotting on steroids. You can take screenshots and then mark them up with drawings, text, arrows etc. Then share the screenshots with people or even drop them into Evernote!

You can read about it here.

Hi folks! So as soon as OS X Lion came out I had to grab it! Considering it costs next to nothing, why not?

So I upgraded through the App Store on my Mac and the upgrade was seamless. In true Apple fashion everything went off without a hitch. Once my laptop was done upgrading I had all my previous programs ready and waiting for me.

I have to say Lion just rocks! My favourite part? All the new gestures, and full screen mode. I feel so much more productive with these new features and wish Apple had included them ages ago. Also I’m still using VMware Fusion for Windows 7 compatibility and it works great under Lion with no problems.

Thanks again Apple for a great OS upgrade!

Hi folks, as you know I’ve been an avid user of Evernote as of late. It’s the application that you can use to take notes and use it cross platform.

Well as I mentioned in a previous blog I just bought a MacBook Air. One of the first things I did was install Evernote for the Mac of course! How do I like it? It’s great!

Evernote has all the same features I have grown to know and love from Evernote for the PC and it is super easy to use. I have already converted a few friends of mine who have multiple machines and they love the product. If you haven’t had a chance to try out Evernote, whether you use a Mac or a PC, I urge you to give it a try!
