				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi folks! Fresh off my A-Series course, I wanted to talk a bit about HP&#8217;s Intelligent Resilient Framework, otherwise known as IRF.</p>
<p>IRF is functionality built into the HP A-Series line of switches that is much like Cisco stacking technology. This allows you to join multiple switches and avoid the use of spanning tree.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s great about IRF? The ability to use all of your redundant links actively and achieve less than 50ms reconvergence times!</p>
