It’s been a while since i’ve done a troubleshooting post, so I figured I’d send one your way. This one has to do with QuickBooks 2012.

The problem experienced by users is when they try and install QuickBooks 2012 in Windows 7 and they get the following errors:

  • MSI returned 1603: Fatal error during installation
  • A network error occured while attempting to read from the file  “path to msxml.msi”
