Android, Apple, Apps, iPhone, Marketplace, smartphone
Hi folks! So when we hear about the war between Apple and Android, the number of apps always seems to come up.
I don’t remember exact numbers, but I remember reading somewhere that Apple had over 350K apps and Android Marketplace had over 250K apps. At this point, does it really matter? Does that extra 100K apps that Apple has really make a difference?
I would think at this point that it doesn’t matter, and you probably aren’t going to use all those apps anyways. All the killer apps are probably out there and any new ones that crop up will probably be created in some shape or form for both platforms anyways.
So realistically speaking, I don’t think that should be the criteria people base their smartphone choice on between the two. Instead, look at all the other features and make your decision!
