Hi folks, so you have your newly minted certification as a VCP, MVP, MCP or MCT and you think to yourself, I want to apply my knowledge. What do you do now? Well for one you can get a great deal from Starwind.

Starwind provides their iSCSI SAN software for free to people with the certifications mentioned above. You can use this to mount local disk as iSCSI and then use this storage in your lab environments for testing out virtualization.

Why would Starwind do this? They’re doing this so experienced techs can get a hands on look at their products and consider them for production use. I have had the pleasure of using Starwind and I can happily say that I would consider it for use in production in certain scenarios.

You can read more about it here.
