This week, U.S. CIO Vivek Kundra announced a pilot program that will allow people to log in to government websites using OpenID authentication and InfoCard technology. In the video embedded below, open source advocate Chris Messina and David Recordon, senior open programs manager at Facebook, discuss the details of the announcement and how the OpenID authentication mechanism will work.
