This has been a blessing for used AS400 and iSeries resellers such as us (Vibrant).  Rather than upgrade to IBM's latest systems, clients have been purchasing refurb upgrade parts and spares for existing systems.

It appears that considering maintenance/power costs and lease rates some of the newer systems are starting to make sense.  Luckily, we're also starting to get i5 systems in used now too and we can help those clients upgrade where it makes sense.</description>
