One sales person who properly and technically understands all different types of IBM hardware systems? I find that hard to believe. I prefer the idea of sales people who know their stuff, rather than 'my sales person'. In addition, will this mean a salesperson will only push his 'pet hardware' (because he understands and can talk about it better) and in that case, how many of them will be pushing system i?

I think it is a great idea to use the 570 iron for the first Power6 iSeries.

Currently we are installing two pSeries 590 with some i5/OS partitions with the Power5 processors that allow extensive virtualization in AIX 5.3 XL or Linux.

However, the extent of the i5/OS usage of the virtual channels (processor, memory, disk, ethernet, etc.) is limited.
