I find that hard to believe. I prefer the idea of sales people who know their stuff, rather than ‘my sales person’. In addition, will this mean a salesperson will only push his ‘pet hardware’ (because he understands and can talk about it better) and in that case, how many of them will be pushing system i?

Currently we are installing two pSeries 590 with some i5/OS partitions with the Power5 processors that allow extensive virtualization in AIX 5.3 XL or Linux.

However, the extent of the i5/OS usage of the virtual channels (processor, memory, disk, ethernet, etc.) is limited.
