The new Redbook, called “IBM i 6.1 Independent ASPs: A Guide to Quick Implementation of Independent ASPs,” includes chapters introducing independent disk pools, as well as others on managing, backup/recovery, and example hardware configurations.

I didn’t bother with bore-sighting as I figured that I could put a box out at 25m and put some holes into it. pass4sure 640-721 Nope. I ended up doing some pretty crazy spinning of the windage and elevation dials to get myself in tight. pass4sure 640-460 I was a bit concerned that I could over-screw the dials but upon reading the manual I didn’t see anywhere that it said I had to worry about it. pass4sure 642-681 Hopefully that is the case.
