Sessions can be hosted through online methods such as webinars, reducing travel costs for attendees and speakers. Utilizing video, autio, phone chat abilities. Much of the benefit of COMMON is the networking and interacting with people in person, but social networking and collaboration tools available facilitate global interaction both realtime and asynchronously.

Mark's comment that "Vendor sessions that include an end user case study should get better priority." is certainly warranted.

Raz-Lee's session on "Tracking Application Activity via the DB-Journal: The Missing Dimension of Information Systems" included 4 case studies (mortgage bank, pharma, gov't, financial) who obtained substantial benefits and savings using DB-Journal directly as an application activity tool, or using our [A href="http://www.razlee.com/products/security/ap-journal/ap-journal_business_analysis_o.php"]AP-Journal [/A]product.

I agree I
wonder why no one appears to be talking about combining IBM’s Tech Conference and Common event into 1 event at this time, that saves everyone many $$ and time. Provides attendee’s 1 ultimate event to attend for all things power or i based?
