		<description>I received a follow-up question regarding my assertion that COMMON should cater more to first-time attendees. Unofficially, I would guess that 20% of attendees this year were first-timers (including myself). And, I would add that if you want to get more attendees, it is important to do some catering to this group. I also heard feedback from some experienced programmers that they don't attend because the sessions are too basic. So, the "mini" courses could be broken up to offer both introductory and advanced levels, meeting the needs of the entire community and bringing more seasoned members to the event as well.</description>
