Windows 7 System Hang – Application Experience in Eventlog

A.e.L.o.o.k.u.p, Event 7036, Service Control Manager, Sleep, system hang, Task Shcheduler, The Application Experience service entered a stopped state, Windows 7

Your system has hung, most likely before going to sleep. The last few things in your eventlog before the crash was and information event 7036, Service Control Manager, under the general tab you saw the following.

“ The Application Experience service entered the stopped state“, and under the details your see this.

0000: 41 00 65 00 4C 00 6F 00 A.e.L.o.
0008: 6F 00 6B 00 75 00 70 00 o.k.u.p.
0010: 53 00 76 00 63 00 2F 00 S.v.c./.
0018: 31 00 00 00 1…

 Turns out if may be cause by a couple scheduled tasks under Task Scheduler. Follow the instructions below and it should fix it up.

Open the Task Scheduler

Select Task Scheduler Library in the left pane

Select Microsoft,

Windows

Application Experience

Select each of the two task and select disable in the right hand pane for each one.

My system showed these symptoms exactly.  Applied your fix, hope that solves the problem in the future.
