Black Friday Deals

Posted by: Nathan Simon
newegg.ca, apple.com, pc, black friday, gps, holiday, christmas, xmas

Well its Black Friday tomorrow and the deals are all over the web. Notably on one of my favorite web stores to purchase from, NewEgg.ca, check it out. Click here for the Ultimate deals page, where they have anything from phones, to GPS units, PC parts, etc. Apple.com is also hosting a Black Friday sales event also, which can be viewed on their site Apple.com.

Make sure you take advantage of this sale asap.

Happy spending, remember Christmas is just around the corner, may as well start the holiday shopping early, and from the comfort of your home!

System Untable?

Sisoft Sandra, burn-in, system hard lock, hold power switch, sata, cables, utility, components, diagnostics, pc

Here’s the scenario. You have this PC, its unstable, but you have ran all the proper diagnostics and cannot come up with an issue… When was the last time a software issue cause a hard lock of a PC? That’s right it hardly happens. Your diagnosed the hardware, but you’ve been leaving all the same interconnects in i.e. power cables, ide cables, sata cable, etc. I have seen in the past a system running, but being unstable because of a SATA cable, so replace the cable and re-run the tests, set the PC through its paces. Sisoftware has a pretty good burn-in utility that can stress all the major components. If the PC makes it through the burn-in, then your in the clear…or are you? :)
