You thought the iPhone4/4S display was crisp and clear… go here to read the full story and see some image comparisons to see exactly what I am talking about. Just think, a display so clear and smooth that you cannot see the pixels anymore (kind of like looking through a sheet of glass). If they are able to apply this resolution to a TV screen 10x the size it would be like having a 16000p display never mind 1080p, that is just amazing. It’s an amazing time in technology, and it only gets better as the years fly by.

Well without reading anything in the press, nor have I even read what is below, I will say this, like Bill Gates, Steve steps down, he may not be actively running the company, but I am sure he will have plenty of input. I do not like Apple, I was forced to use an iPhone 4 for almost a year, thank god I got a BlackBerry Bold 9900( I can breath again!), but Steve, you did an amazing job. Sure you gave up on your own hardware and had to use Intel Processors etc. but your design was what people wanted, no not me, but other people… having said the above… let’s read the insert I pasted from Apples sight!

“Steve’s extraordinary vision and leadership saved Apple and guided it to its position as the world’s most innovative and valuable technology company,” said Art Levinson, Chairman of Genentech, on behalf of Apple’s Board. “Steve has made countless contributions to Apple’s success, and he has attracted and inspired Apple’s immensely creative employees and world class executive team. In his new role as Chairman of the Board, Steve will continue to serve Apple with his unique insights, creativity and inspiration.”

See? What did I say, just because he stepped down as CEO he will still be there to guide the company that he built. I mean when you are Steve Jobs, or Bill Gates, you never leave the company completely… Good Luck in your new position Steve…

Nooowww we hit 2011 and Facebook has one upped EVERYONE… basically its an iPhone app that allows you to send messages to anyone on any device anywhere in the world.

I want this phone… I don’t know why, I just do. I currently have an iPhone 4 and cannot stand it sometimes… I mean come on, let me have push mail without completely draining my battery by 2pm, I go out a lot, I need my phone to be working, not running around trying to find a stupid plug-in in the middle of town, never mind the adapters needed to do so… apparently at double the speed, the Bold 9900 uses 1/3rd less power! Yes the battery is a little smaller, but at 1/3rd the power consumption the general consensus says it will last much much longer!

It also offers a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, NFC technology for mobile payments, a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, 8GB of internal memory, and more. The Bold 9900 is a quad-band GSM device with compatibility with HSPA+ networks, while the Bold 9930 is the dual-mode version with both CDMA and GSM support.

Not only will the 9900 be the thinnest BlackBerry to date, measuring in at 10.5 millimeters thick, but the new hardware should also make it one of the most powerful. The new 1.2GHz processor runs at nearly double the clock speed of the Bold 9780, and system memory will be expanded up to 768MB. We’ll just have to wait a little longer to finally get our chance to pick up the 9900 and check out the new BlackBerry OS 7.

Check out the official BlackBerry 9900 webpage and see some of its awesome new features.

Well i figured it was coming, Google Android is quickly climbing to be the number 1 selling smart phone in the US, in less than 6 months it has exceeded iPhone sales, and is moving fast to compete with RIM. They need an app that can emulate and interact with BlackBerry Messenger, then I would even get one!

According to NPD, devices running Android accounted for 28 percent of the units sold to U.S. consumers in the first quarter of 2010. BlackBerry devices made by Research In Motion, which use RIM’s homegrown operating system, took the top spot with 36 percent of the U.S. market. Apple’s iPhone, which had been in the No. 2 spot previously, fell to third place with 21 percent of the market.

Just remember that Google Android’s success can mainly be because it runs on many different pieces over different vendors. Also iPhone hasn’t changed their front end since it was first released! Google Android also handles multitasking, one of the many things that iPhone just got multitasking in its latest OS(and they still haven’t changed the front-end!).

Good for Google, embracing Adobe Flash is great for everyone, I’m sick of hearing about Apple and the fact that they just won’t accept Flash onto their device. I hope that the Android picks up steam and take the iPhone out!

Android 2.2, code-named “FroYo,” will fully support Adobe’s Flash platform, Andy Rubin, Google’s vice president of engineering, told The New York Times’ Bits blog Tuesday. Google’s show of Flash support came weeks after Apple, Android’s rival, announced changes that made it more difficult for Flash application developers to create apps for its iPhone.

What is an smart device without flash anyways? There is just so much rich content out there developed using flash, how can one ignore it. Apple, why don’t you give up? We are onto you!
