There is a really interesting story over at TechNewsWorld. I have included an insert below…

“When you’re surfing online, privacy is really a matter of degree. If you’re browsing unprotected, site owners can manage to figure out quite a lot about you based on where you go. Many browsers now offer so-called privacy modes, but those don’t come close to masking everything about you. Even advanced proxy systems aren’t always a complete privacy panacea.”

Here’s a quick insert from CNET…

“Google has written software with “vehicle dispatch algorithms” that can decide how to best charge cars, Reicher said. In addition to smoothing out the load on the grid, smart charging makes it easier to take advantage of solar and wind power, which are variable sources of electricity. “

Electric cars are getting more and more interesting… driving 70km before a charge is required is pretty good. Mind you ill be one of those guys that gets one of those hot rod electric cars, so it may not last that long! But what Google is trying to do is to stop the 530pm rush of everyone plugging in their cars.

Over the weekend it has become known that Acer has chosen Goolge Android over Windows 7.

Now I don’t know what Google Android looks like on a Netbook, but I know that Windows 7 didn’t run too well on mine. On the defense of Windows 7, my lil Acer One isn’t exactly a power house. I guess that is why Acer choose Google Android instead, it is able to run on much lower resources, and apparently its wireless access speeds are much better then Windows 7. Along with its open source backings, this could make for a good opportunity for Google Android to shine!
