I used to run a fan page called “ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity” it had about 3500 followers, and I specifically stated that it was a fan page and that the views/posts were mine and not the views of ASUS the company…

Just the other day I could not logon to facebook from my phone, said I have to logon from a PC browser. At the time I didn’t think anything about it, just went about my day.

This am, I went to check again, and sure enough, still locked out, I was like, what the flop… go down to my PC, log into Facebook, and BOOM, big splash page. Apparently my “Unofficial Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Fan Page” was shut down due to “Copyright Infringement”

Really?

Doing a search on Facebook it looks like they shut all the pages down…. because there was a lot more pages and people likes then that, these must have been re-created since the mass shutdown…

Maybe ASUS Lost to Hasbro finally? Because, you know, everyone mistakes a silver tablet for a giant red and blue transforming robot… come on…

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 JellyBean Update is now available

As of 8-9am this morning, JellyBean should now be available to US, Canada, and the world!

Seems like we are a go for worldwide updates on JellyBean!

My Asus Page is alive with updates of JellyBean goodness!

And for the unlucky fellow on top, I am sure it will arrive shortly, keep checking for the update!

Transformer TF201/TF700 Jelly Bean Update 10.4.2.15 Expected Today/Tomorrow

TF700 JellyBean delayed, should be here next week, there were firmware issues with the keyboard dock, and some apps werent responding correctly…

Finally, people will get the long awaited Jelly Bean update to their Transformer Pad TF201 and Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T!

Android Jelly Bean update will begin rolling out in the US on September 27th, 2012 for the TF201 and on September 28th, 2012 for the TF700. Here are a summary of the changes and fixes:

Upgrade OS from Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)

Default enable System Bar Lock

Add Multiple Photo Selection feature

Support Connect Dock (Accessory)

Remove Adobe Flash support

Remove Wi-Fi Direct function support

Remove Press Reader*

*PressReader is still available and downloadable for free from Google Play.

Does this make you happy? Or are you upset they removed some features? There are ways to get Adobe Flash back, and I am sure with some “Googling’ you can get WiFi Direct back as well! Asus Transformer Pad Infinity update pushing out to the Masses

Okay, so one of my users over at the Unnofficial Transformer Pad Infinity Facebook page early this am, noted that he was blessed with an update to his TF700T. He was one of the many people that had issues with his Transformer Pad, well guess what? He doesn’t have anymore issues! Head on over and join the 1500 or so people talking about the new update and why you need to get it ASAP… If you are still sitting at v .26 have no fear, the update (9.4.5.30) will roll out to you in the next 24-48 hours.

Some changes noted are

Camera Updates
Face unlock
simplified boot screen
lag fixes
seems like a new version of the Chrome browser (Sorry Google, I like Opera Mobile better!)
and I am sure there will be more updates from people around the world.

It’s not Jelly Bean, but I am thinking this will help tide people over until it finally does get released!

Asus Transformer Pad : Australia Shipping Update

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity hits the FCC! Finally!

So the WiFi only edition of the Transformer Pad Infinity has finally hit the FCC, once approved, which it will be, this tablet will be on its way to consumer hands… I believe this is one of the most hyped releases of a tablet since the iPad 2… let’s hope Asus pulls through!

The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity release date has been announced, along with the TF Pad 300 and the TF Pad Phone!

“ASUS is coming in hot for 2012. We can only hope a US release will soon follow these Italian dates. For some reason, I just can’t imagine we’re going to see the Padfone arriving stateside on too many carriers with the device more than likely being made available unlocked and compatible with AT&T. Looking to upgrade anytime soon? Well Ivy Bridge is finally here…

Its been over a year since Sandy Bridge and the dreaded B2/B3 stepping nonsense… now we welcome the 3rd generation of motherboards welcome Ivy Bridge, although processors are a few weeks away, the mainboards are available. The good people over at Anandtech.com have a preview of mainboards, ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSA, ECS and Biostar. Along with obvious improvements, true PCIe 3.0 compliance, Native USB 3.0, Memory Improvements, Power consumption and Power Delivery, and will be backwards compatible with Sandy Bridge Processors. My personal favorite goes to ASUS…

Are you waiting patiently for the Transformer Tab Infinity, want that Tegra 3 goodness? Well what about the next Transformer Pad with a Tegra 4 processor? If I were you I wouldn’t put too much money into the Transformer Pad Infinity, I mean it in itself will be a beast, but once the Tegra 4 processor goes live, all bets are off, we will have a winner…although that won’t be for a year or so… to get more information on this 32-64 core beast, go here.
