		<description>Have you tried to download lastest driver update from Symantec? Another way is to remove all drivers from the system using Symantec's application called tapeinst.exe and then download the proper drivers from HP.com for your tape drive. Then restart either the server or all the Backup Exec Services. Try SGMON again, it seems to me that the drivers are not reporting to backup exec that they have the capability to compress the data. Make sure Jobengine is checked off. Let me know.</description>

i have a problem with the compression in Symantec Backup Exec V11.0 with sp4 installed my tape drive is HP lto2 i checked everything about compression in the software and in the drivers and everything looks good but still the compression is not working i tried to use the SGMON but i couldn't find the line for the compression in the log at ( nothing about the compression in that log )
so can you help me i really need help and if you are able to i will be thankful
