Wow, PCIe 3.0 hasn’t even been out for very long, and now they are going to double the speed to 16 gigatransfers a second? That’s 16 billion discrete packets of data per second! Manufacturers may as well make their devices PCIe 4.0 compliant right now if they can, but if they do not, not to worry, PCIe won’t be headed to your PC for a little while, they say it may be 2016 before it is widely adopted.
