Nathan Simon Nathan Simon Profile: Nathan Simon

Hey everyone, hope your holidays went well! Last night I was perusing the web on my BlackBerry, and I couldn’t go to half the pages, always got an error that the “HTTP: Error 413 – Request Entity Too large” So I did a quick look up and found that there is a fix in BES, well I’m not going to get into it because let’s face it the blackberry browser is terrible. I have used Opera in the past with little success, but I read about Opera Mini 5 Beta 2 and decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, it’s fast and works beautifully, and I highly recommend it. Below are some of the new features.

Tabbed browsing

Browse several Web sites at the same time, while easily jumping from one to another.

Speed Dial

Get to your favorite Web page with just one click, with a set of visual bookmarks when you open a new tab

Opera Link

Synchronize your bookmarks and Speed Dial between your mobile phone and desktop computer.

Download manager

Manage downloads right from the browser. Pause and resume downloads to suit your needs.

Built for speed

The new Opera Mini lets you search for text within a Web page, so you can get to the information you need even more quickly than before.

To download Opera Mini 5 beta, visit the address http://m.opera.com/next/ from your mobile phone.
