My New OCZ Vertex2 SSD Drive

Nathan Simon Nathan Simon Profile: Nathan Simon

Recently my ASUS P8P67-Deluxe started to show failure on the disk drives, even after moving my SATA disks to the 6G ports. I decided it was time to swap out my mainboard with a “B3 Stepping” board. When I was at Memory Express here in Winnipeg, I decided that I wanted to also take my existing HDD out of the equation, so I purchased an OCZ Vertex 2 SSD Drive, needless to say, installation was quick and seamless, bootup was great, and overall usability is out of this world. Weirdest part is that you do not hear anything, its hard to get used to the fact that your OS when booting or thinking, isn’t making a noise, its something to get used to that’s for sure. Check out the stats below of the OCZ Vertex 2 Series
