Even with its Sandy Bridge flop, Intel is going to build a new plant. This plant will introduce the 14nm production process to the world. It is said to create 4,000 new jobs.

The new Arizona factory, designated Fab 42, will be the most advanced, high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facility in the world. Construction of the new fab is expected to begin in the middle of this year and is expected to be completed in 2013.

Intel invested over 5 billion dollars in the Production Plant they call Fab 42. They hope to complete construction by 2013.
