It is often the ability to recommend really cool (or sometimes really simple) solutions, practices, etc. that help customers execute their businesses more efficiently and more profitably. Derek Kuhr: I have a passion for technology and how it can help improve the lives of others. Also, I am focused on continually learning and pushing the envelope of possibilities further on a daily basis. I’m not doing my job unless I learn at least one new thing every day. If one stops learning, they stop living.  In that pursuit, I am a lead engineer at Heartland Technology Solutions and graduated from Iowa State with a BS in Computer Engineering.  I enjoy spending spare time with my family and working on home improvement projects.
