What do you think of Generation 2 VMs?

One of the big changes that Microsoft is making in the forthcoming Windows Server Hyper-V 2012 R2 is a feature known as Generation 2 virtual machines. Generation 2 VMs are an attempt to modernize the virtual machine structure, which has remained relatively unchanged since Windows Server 2008. Brien Posey Brien Posey Profile: Brien Posey

Time we moved on from emulation even if we end up going somewhere else.
Wouldn't try it in production yet though! ;)

What Can We Do For IBM i in 2014?

Looking for a storage option for large scale documents

I have thousands of documents that I need stored (which are empty but appended to frequently / never deleted). They also need to be accessed by an unique ID. Most of these documents are very small some reach 10MB or more. I'm using MySQL but I'm looking for a better option. Can anyone recommend a storage solution for these large-scale appended documents?
