What’s the most important consideration when choosing thin clients for VDI?

Thin clients
As you choose thin client devices for your virtual desktop infrastructure, it's important to consider the manageability of those devices and how they integrate with your existing systems. But don't forget about thin client performance.

There are to many assumptions and factual inaccuracies in this article.

6+ years lifespan? Most vendors are dropping support after 4-5 mainly because the likes of Citrix and Co add features that push the capabilities of the hardware.

People are better off re-purposing kit and/or purchasing small form factor PCs running Win ThinPC for a similar/lower cost with 4 - 5 year lifespan and the h/w muscle to last that long.

ThinKIOSK, DevonIT, etc all have re-purposing software with great centralised management and next to no cost.

I'm not saying there is no use case but as a PC replacement plan stay clear. I've yet to see a happy customer of any thin client after 3/4 years - And I know a lot of customers!
