I have seen some of our projects migrated on cloud but we did not experience any problems as such. However, manual migration does appear to be painful and prone to accidents.

I think some of the other aspects that companies usually look for also include 'security' as an important factor.

In general, Banking and Finance institutions pay special attention to "security" when it comes to deciding about cloud I believe.

Is your company thinking of going fully into the cloud?

As far as I know, yes. Some of the groups are completely on cloud now and some others are planning the same. However, we have very less visibility to budget thing.
