I have a project that I'm trying to figure out the best approach. I'm using .NET Application and I need to store 200,000 objects. 10 of the need to be stored per second from multiple threads. I'm using binaryserialization before storing them and I'll need to access them later by either an integer or unique ID. What's the best way to store these many files? Should I use a file system?
When I first started in Social Media, the goal was to get more followers, more fans, etc.The thought was once we hit critical mass, we’ll figure out a way to make money. That was 10 years ago and it is quite surprising to see companies still engaging in that practice while there are many ways to track the real value of your social media endeavors; and more importantly, what your customers want from you.So is your company still following the old playbook? If not, what tools and techniques is your company using to track the value of your social media campaigns?
