If a disk drive fails, having RAID will allow you to contiue accessing the data by adding redundancy.

But it’s not as simple as that. There are several different RAID levels companies can choose from. How can you tell which one is right for your environment? Which ones are most suitable for SMBs? And are RAID arrays always reliable–what are the drawbacks with this type of technology?
