A collocation center is a building or site where media and telecommunicatons are converged and connected. And sometimes, depending on the circumstances in a company, it can become their data center, providing support for mission-critical systems and applications. But what value does this have for disaster recovery? And what steps should an SMB take to choose the right collocation provider for their data storage environment?

I sat down with Paul Kirvan, secretary of the Business Continuity Institute and independent business continuity consultant, to talk about the importance of collocation centers for disaster recovery and SMBs. You can listen to his answers in the podcast below.
