Carl, I liked it. I took the bait on the headline but you admitted up front that that that’s exactly what it was; bait. It was a nice distraction from all of the “serious” articles that we all feel we have to read to keep up with what’s happening “in the cloud”. Thanks!

Congratulations.

This article alone has freed up considerable time in apportioning personal reading time. I can now focus upon relevant and real issues.

Colleagues and I started designing and using Cloud techniques in 2002. This article confirms not only the lack of relevance, but also the overall slide that has taken place in the entire IT genre.

Again, to be fair, I thank you for allowing me to easily rationalize unsubscribing.

Before laying it on too thick perhaps you should read “Legacy of Ashes” , The History of the CIA.

The story is simply “He’s dead” or “Mission Accomplished” The rest is suposition, speculation and just plain fiction. Leave the fiction writing to our news media. Lets keep to the facts! This artilce is “spooky”, like Scary Movie.

Next someone will be claiming virtualization was used or the semantic web or Facebook or the World of Warcraft. I think they used the technology from the “Where’s Waldo” books.

OH GIVE ME A BREAK!! Is this supposed to turn us all on to “The Cloud”? It seems like everyone and their mother wants to take some credit for getting Bin Laden, but I never thought that it would filter down to the IT community.
