Posted by: David Davis
I’ll admit, right off, the point of this post is to get some discussion going. That said, slide the keyboard over–>
And prepare to comment on this one!
(and I hope you aren’t still using a VIC-20, like that one)
The Queation at hand:
What is the best Cisco CCNA Training material available today?
To help out with this, let me give you a scenario. Let’s say that you have been working in the computer field for a number of years but you want learn more about Cisco router and switches. Perhaps, eventually, you want to get your CCNA.
What training are you going to choose?
What is the best value of training for the time, the money, and the total experience?
Here are some thoughts-
1) Video training like Train Signal’s CCNA Video training series (and there are many more)
2) Cisco Press Books or other books
3) Buy some routers and just do it! (on Ebay)
4) take a $2000 class or something and do it in the classroom
Or, some combination.
So, again, please put on your thinking cap
Let your voice be heard
And let me know what you think! Again, break out that keyboard ![]()
and post!
I will take these results and post them in an information summary report in an upcoming blog, after a number of people have answered.
Thanks for your help!
All the best to you,
