Remember what a huge success HP’s Touchpad was? Of course you don’t because it wasn’t a success. That is until they dropped the price to next to nothing, – $99 to be exact. All of the sudden they were the hottest thing around. Well, at least until they were all gone. Since then, the mill has been spitting out rumors that more of these low priced gems would be forthcoming. Many people have been on the lookout for this elusive creature, but it hasn’t been spotted by many since the initial sale.
This is all about to change, and starting November 1st Best Buy is promising to have the HP Touchpad 32 GB device available for $149.00. Now, before you run out to stand in line there is one thing you should know, there’s a catch. To snatch one of these devices at such a low price you will need to buy a new HP PC. Yep, you can only get the Touchpad if you buy a new HP PC. So if you are in the market for a new PC and you want an HP and have an extra 149 bucks, it looks like November 1st might be your lucky day. But, might I suggest you scrounge up another 50 bucks and just get a Kindle Fire?
