I see a dependency there where she is subjugating her own responsibilities and indirectly seeking to put what she should be doing upon someone else.
I've been in IT/telecom since 1978 and most assurredly have put in more time and money into the investment of my professional career than she has.
Nothing is a sure thing except taxes and death. I say quit blaming others and get off your duff and pound the streets. I have no sympathy for her position although I can empathize with how hard it is to find work when you have put in so much time to achieve it. Its on her to find her niche.
If it were legal to do what she is doing then perhaps I should ask for compensation for all the time and investment I have too. Just a lot more.
