Edison Peres, SVP of worldwide channels has been dubbed the de facto “channel chief.” reporting to Keith Goodwin,  SVP of Cisco’s worldwide partner organization, according to a Cisco blog post.

Peres had been SVP of worldwide channels go-to-market group.

Wendy Barr, another SVP , will lead a new Global and Transformational Partnerships group. Her direct reports include Jim Greene, head of the strategic partner organization and Simon Hayes who is in charge of technology alliances.

in this role, Barr will handle Cisco’s “named” accounts designated last April.

Cisco is searching for a replacement to fill Barr’s previous position as SVP US and Canada.

Dave O’Callaghan will step into a new role as VP of worldwide commercial sales to help Cisco grow sales into the SMB market.
