You know what they say: A billion here and a billion there, pretty soon you&#8217;re talking real money. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: small;font-family: Times New Roman">And the VARs gathering here at Tech Data&#8217;s TechEDG and Technology Solutions Tour, this week are, indeed, happy to be here. <span> </span>Most of the attendees are already in the big business of government—at state, federal and/or local levels. And those that aren&#8217;t are looking to get in, said one Omaha-based attendee. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: small;font-family: Times New Roman">And while some VARs said the money isn&#8217;t exactly flowing yet, one Dallas-area solution provider said he&#8217;s already seen a significant uptick in business. &#8220;They may not have the money yet,&#8221; he said of government and education customers, &#8220;but they know it&#8217;s coming and they&#8217;re starting to spend.&#8221; Even war-torn countries try to keep their schools running and businesses open, he noted. So, he seemed to be saying, what&#8217;s our excuse?</span></p>
