Oracle exec shuffle

The top ranks of Oracle are shifting. Chuck Rozwat, head of all  development at the company is taking a year off to attend Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, an Oracle spokeswoman confirmed Thursday.

 Thomas Kurian, senior vice president of product development is stepping in. (Rozwat is executive vice president.) Ed Abbo, who had headed applications development, left recently and the spokeswoman said Kurian would look at the organization to see what makes sense.

Asked if Rozwat, who recently purchased some high-end real estate in Manhattan, would return after the year, the spokeswoman said that this is a leave of absence, so the assumption is he’ll return.
