More shoes dropping at Yahoo

 Yahoo has put Zimbra email on the block, according to All Things D.

One of Zimbra’s open-source email rivals is helpfully making journalists aware of this tidbit by emailing the report. Thanks guy.

Anyhoo, Yahoo bought Zimbra for $350 million two years ago and when the endless Microsoft-will-buy-won’t-buy-Yahoo saga unfolded folks figured Zimbra would be one of the first businesses jettisoned by Yahoo’s new bosses.

Zimbra CEO Satish Dharmaraj left in March to join Redpoint Ventures. Scott Dietzen, former Zimbra CTO, is still apparently a Yahoo senior vice president.
