Dynamics GP 11 Web Services

Microsoft is saying that its Dynamics GP 11 product will be delivered sometime next year with many new features aimed at increasing functionality, extending the integration with MS Office applications and easier installation. These are all good marketing bullet points. Also mentioned in the development goals are web services, something heretofore missing in Dynamics GP. 

Web services in Dynamics GP 11 would be a blessing to both users and administrators. We have it in Outlook Web Access (OWA) and CRM with Internet Facing Deployment (IFD). I support a few remote accountants using Dynamics GP 10 in a branch office and I spend too much time there dealing with the quirks of Terminal Services.

If web services for users are included in Dynamics GP 11, it promises to be a worthwhile upgrade.
