UNIX, love is good, but given unsought, is better

Yes, that’s a Shakespeare quote. No, I’m not going to explain how I assert it applies to the following.
Being a marketing person, there are a few things that really get me going. One of them is customer research with compelling results. What marketing person out there doesn’t just love hearing what customer’s say about his/her product? The person who makes crappy products, I guess. Anyway, Gabriel Consulting tried to figure out what UNIX users thought of Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX. The results are pleasing to me.
So, even though HP-UX doesn’t love me, I love it. And a lot of my customers do, too. Gabriel Consulting is doing a webcast this Thursday at 12:00pm EST to share the results.
