				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On July 30, 1979, <a href="http://thisdayintechhistory.com/2012/07/30/apple-lisa-is-born/">Apple began work on the &#8216;Lisa&#8217;</a>, which became the first computer to use a graphic user interface.</p>
<p>Even though Lisa was delayed until 1983, it will be known for its futuristic technology and having helped influence the development of the Macintosh computer. Extra points to anyone who knows who started on the Lisa project before being forced out and joining the Macintosh project.</p>
